Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Not all wisdom teeth need to be extracted. But a good number of them do pose potential issues to your oral health and dentition. When there isn’t enough space for these extra teeth in your mouth, they can come in partially, which makes it more susceptible to cavities and periodontal issues.

When these problematic wisdom teeth are left in place, they could lead to cavities, infections and the loss of the teeth in front of them too. At Jamieson Dental, we will assess your wisdom teeth at routine check-ups to see if your wisdom teeth are fine the way they are or if they need to be pulled. If you have any questions, give us a call and Dr. Lu will provide you with a consultation to discuss your situation.
